They also added tracks to a collaboration with the Thievery Corporation called "Marching The Hate Machines Into The Sun" (or something like that) which turned out great also. Try to listen to it without a tear coming to your eye. It's supposed to be on a Daniel Johnston tribute album coming out soon-ish and, although I haven't heard the final mix yet, it turned out lovely. ![]() What I meant to say is Sparklehorse laid down a bunch of tracks and the fellas laid more tracks on top of Sparklehorse's tracks. They added tracks to a Daniel Johnston song that Sparklehorse had started called "Go." Did that make any sense? What I meant to say is that Sparklehorse started the song and the Lips finished it. Wayne, Steven and Michael went up to Tarbox (Dave Fridmann's studio) to do the 5.1 surround-sound mix of "The Soft Bulletin," but all of the new gear that Dave was getting to facilitate the 5.1 mixing hadn't arrived yet. You'll surely be glad to know that the recording of the next record is already underway.
